Joey Navarro- Keyboards
Born and raised in the onion fields of Tolleson, Arizona, this third generation Mexican-American began playing piano and age five. Navarro continued to study R&B, jazz, fusion, and latin influenced pop of the late 60's and 70's. After graduating from high school, He landed a major record deal with Island Records. His album "On The Rocks," was a melting pot of funk, R&B and the fusion sounds of the mid 80's.

At 23, Navarro was in on the birth of contemporary jazz. As keyboardist and musical director he toured with recording artists such as Khani Cole, Eric Marienthal, Richard Smith, Dennis Rowland, Jennifer Page, Sister Sledge, Marion Meadows, Jeff Kashiwa, Nelson Rangell, Steve Smith, Brian Bromberg and Steve Oliver among others.
Joey returns once again to his love of Latin music with his newest project, NAVARRO, an organic Latin-Jazz ensemble which features the talents of legends such as percussionist Lenny Castro, drummer Joey Heredia, bassist Rene Camacho and saxaphonist Brandon Fields.
