Brian Allen- Bass
Allen's vast musical talent is nothing short of virtousity. His playing spans the musical spectrum from jazz to rock and everything in between. Versatility is one of Brian 's many assets in any given musical setting.

Hailing from Columbus, Indiana, Allen started playing the bass at age eleven. His playing won him several awards throughout high school, including the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz award. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to attend the Musicians Institute. There he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music and also won the outstanding student of the year. Since graduating in 99', he has done a diverse range of live playing and recording sessions. He is currently on the faculty at Musicians Institute and is a clinician for Zon guitars. www.zonguitars.com

Allen's work can been heard on CD's by Forrest Blackburn, Gnaposs as well as the soundtrack to the independent film "Suckers." You can catch Brian on screen playing upright bass in the 2003 movie "A Mighty Wind" starring Christopher Guest. He is also music director for Angela Ammons on Universal Records.
